PRE-Arrival and Departure Planning
If you are considering moving to or leaving from the UK, tax planning before moving is imperative. Together we will determine when is the best time for you to move, align the different tax years as much as possible, inform HMRC of your departure, and consider the tax implications of any assets.

Residence Tests
Living and residing in one country for the majority of the year does not guarantee you are only a tax resident of that country. Becoming a tax resident of multiple jurisdictions can be a common problem for people who work in multiple countries, have homes or property outside their place of abode, or who have moved to a different country but have not sufficiently severed ties with their previous country.

Transfer Pricing
Utilising subsidies or commonly controlled companies to exchange goods and services in a tax efficient way.

Non-Domiciles
Domicile is an old English tradition and is based on where you and your father were born. The non-domicile rules have changed as a result of the Government's October 2024 budget and the changes will be effective from 6 April 2025. I provide advice on non-domicile tax planning, the remittance basis, and how the new rules will affect you.

Permanent Establishment
Companies create permanent establishments in countries outside of their home country intentionally or unintentionally. The unintentional creation of a permanent establishment can be costly so it is important to operate within guidelines set by the OECD and the country in which you are expanding.

European Union
Tax advice for residents of European Union Member States or for businesses located within one of more Member States.
